What Will YOU Be Watching This Weekend?

For me I think this will either be a catchup weekend or I will catch a couple of flicks at my local art house cinema.

What will you be up to?

It’ll be ‘The Grey’ for me this weekend.

I’m not sure yet. The Internal Film Festival Rotterdam has started this week and since it’s my hometown, I’ll see if I can catch a movie there. Else I’ll go see a new Dutch movie which by the looks of the trailer seems a bit like Snatch (it’s called Blackout).

  3. Nostra says:

That was supposed to say International Film Festival Rotterdam :)

This weekend I will be watching The Descendants as it is finally out here and I am in a Film Club on Sunday to discuss… Also watching Big Miracle at a press screening Sunday morning…

Young Adult on Monday night pre-screening

Man on a Ledge Tuesday Night pre screening

    So a busy few days…..

Have a good weekend my friend

I’ll be “going Grey” next weekend. Liam is one of my faves! :)

I don’t think I’ll be going to the cinema this weekend, but hoping to see Margin Call. I’ve been curious about it and even more so now that it’s nominated for Best Original Screenplay.

I may go see The Descendants this weekend. I also want to see Margin Call cause I am obsessed with anything about the financial crisis. Even something that is SUPPOSED to be fictional.

  8. Castor says:

I won’t be watching any of these this weekend ;) The Grey seem to be the better movie but I guess I would be willing to rent any of these down the road.

  9. amelie says:

well, hopefully none of them and instead I will see the Descendants again. I actually wanted to finally see the Goon and it left the cinema -_-” I think the Grey looks pretty interesting, Man on Ledge looks like the phonebooth rip off a little and I won’t even comment on the last one ;)

I was supposed to watch The Road to Perdition at some point but couldn’t drag myself away from Frasier in the end. We’re on Season 6 and we just can’t wait for Daphne and Niles to get together (no spoilers anyone please!). Saw Carnage at my local indy theatre on Saturday afternoon, was a nice change from the usual Polanski doom and gloom fare, though it wasn’t exactly happy clappy :-)
