At the Theaters This Weekend …

Well a quick look at what is on offer shows this weekend at the movies is not too promising.

Obviously outside of the theaters, the big news of the weekend will be that wonderfully glitzy event going on out in Hollywood on Sunday evening. In the end I may follow the proceedings on Twitter, or ignore the telecast and work on my blog.

Well that is enough about me, on to some of the big cinematic releases for this week; I will restrict the list to the “Top Four”:

Any plans on catching any of these? Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

  1. I have little interest in those ones, I am sure they will be good though. I am seeing Act of Valor next week at a press screening, not out here for a few weeks.

This weekend we have Safe House and rampart… Rampart is one of my films of the year so far… stunningly performed!

    Have a great weekend

  2. Yea I won’t be at the movie theater this weekend. You know I will be glued to the computer trying to get through the movie fantasy draft! I do want to rent Act of Valor down the road even though I’m sure it’s a pretty mediocre movie. Just for the kick ass action.

    • Oh yeah I almost forgot about that draft. I have to go back a look at the rules of engagement.
In addition to what I posted I think I am going to spend some time plowing through the enormous backlog of movies in my DVR queue. I think I will make it socially interactive by posting posters/stills to my tumblr account.

  3. Nope, I’ll stay home this weekend and watch some rentals. Might have to do some blogging to do as the pitch for Castor’s fantasy movie is due next week. Have a nice weekend Iba!

    • Oh yeah, the pitch! I got the synopsis and the beginning act and that is about it.
Stay tuned for tumblr … posting stills and posters from the movies that I have watched this weekend 🙂 Mostly old classics.
