Here’s a look at what I would consider the “Top 4” (in terms of profile) openings this weekend:
Looper
Hotel Transylvania
Won’t Back Down (see yesterday’s review for my thoughts on this one)
Pitch Perfect
In all honesty, this does not look like too bad of a weekend, especially after the past few weeks. I would not actually mind seeing Pitch Perfect myself. Based on what I have read in the blogosphere, I suspect that many of you will be catching Looper 😉

Have a great weekend!

Looking forward to your review.

I also saw LOOPER and really liked it. So many little film noir/classic film touches but it’s still its own thing 🙂

I am immediately reminded of Twelve Monkeys and La Jete (its inspiration)

I’ll probably wait for Netflix since I rarely go the movies anymore, but since there are so many films I still haven’t seen, I don’t mind the wait. I’m waiting for ARGO – I think that’s the title, even if I am not normally a Ben Affleck fan. It just sounds like a daring escape adventure.
I’m also anxious to see what Spielberg has made of LINCOLN. I maintain that Daniel Day Lewis is too short to play Lincoln, but maybe he’ll make up for it some other way. He is, after all, a brilliant actor.
I was checking out the IMdB webpage to see what other films are coming up and I found a few others that I’ll be anxious to see as well. GERRY with Matt Damon and Casey Afflick looks interesting. And of course, so does LIFE OF PI.
You’re always on the cusp of everything new, Iba, and I’m always on the tail end. Ha!
