Thanks for posting these. I had only seen the Scarlett picture, but seeing Anthony Hopkins is really fantastic as well. Hope this ends up well.

Me too, Iba. This is one film I’m really hoping to see.Hard to imagine Anthony Hopkins as Hitchcock, not without layers of make-up. I hope it works in the final effort. Thanks for the pix.

    Hi, iluv:

Good looking photos. They get the mood right, if not the flavor.

I’m more than a bit iffy about films possibly deconstructing icons I have grown to admire. Especially in regards to Anthony Hopkins’ earlier, less than satisfactory attempt at ‘Nixon’.

Hitchcock was an enigma wrapped in a question mark shrouded in mystery in the world of cinema. With myriad people wondering how and why he did what he did so well. The mystique was in keeping those questions unanswered!

    Carry on.

      🙂

The man was an enigma indeed. Sad to say but I am not sure whether or not I have actually read the book considering that I have read so many books about Hitch and some of his movies. Maybe that is something I should do between now and release date. The hope as with all other “based on” films is that there will not be this great deviance into the melodramatic.

Based on the updated teaser poster I would say Jessica Biel is Vera Miles (?)

I am quite curious about this one, especially since I’ve heard only good things about Hopskins and the cast is great!

Great picks! I like the red-hued poster too, very creative retro style. I like the cast though I think Scar-Jo is more suitable to play Jayne Mansfield, ahah.

I hope Biel won’t ruin this one – Hopkins and Mirren look awesome and the film looks entertaining.
