A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood: A Review

I love Mister Rogers.  Yes I know, hardly a controversial statement. Like millions across this great land, he was a vital part of my growing up.

I also really like Tom Hanks (also not controversial) and I gaze upon the career he has had with the utmost respect.

Mix those two together and what could possibly go wrong?

Ford v Ferrari (Le Mans ’66)

First things first – about the title (Ford v Ferrari) – I guess the title swap is designed to avoid any American audience confusion with the Steve McQueen (the actor) film from 1971 – Le Mans. Regardless, for this Yank, this film will sit in my memory as Le Mans ‘66 since I saw this at this year’s London Film Festival.

BFI London Film Festival 2019 – My 1st Time!

Initially, the plan was to include my adventures at my first BFI London Film Festival as part of a wrap up of what turned out to be a rather eventful October. But I changed my mind. So, over this and the next few posts, I will lay out some of the hits (and misses) from the films that I saw. 

First, let me share a summary of my general impressions of the festival overall.
